Following on from our previous blog post ("They had become a shell of their former selves" - Why Skin Woof started), this post explains what our name stands for and why we are called Skin Woof .

At Skin Woof we only do positivity. Woof to us is a fun word which means an uplift; that uplift may be to your skin, your happiness and / or your self confidence. Our purpose is to inspire and encourage everyone to be healthier, happier, more sociable, more active and to feel more self-confident. It starts with helping you to feel more confident in your own healthy, radiant and beautiful skin through our unique vitamins.

The name Skin Woof came to be after a friendship group started using the word 'Woof' whenever something positive happened to them whether that was a promotion at work, a university assignment that received a good result or being confident enough to do something that they had previously been afraid of pursuing. Breaking down the name Skin Woof, it literally means 'to give a woof to your skin' which translates as giving a boost to your skin. We decided we wanted to share this euphoric expression with the world and so Skin Woof was born.

We believe in not taking life too seriously and not stressing about the things that don't matter. We want to give you a boost (or a 'Woof') and we are starting by focusing on giving you healthy skin from within that will allow you to be the best version of yourself as we know first hand the extra confidence having clear and radiant skin can give you!
